I am getting tattoos removed and my skin looks scarred!!!?

I recently got my fourth laser treatment done on one of my tattoos. All of the scabs peeled, but now my tattoo is very shiny. It is lighter, but it is shiny sort of like scarred skin. It ihas only been a week and a half since the treatement, but Im a bit nervous about this. Every session, she turns the laser up a bit more to break up the ink more. I usually didnt have any bleeding, but this time I had quite a bit of pinpoint bleeding. Usually, the tattoo just becomes dull again, but it is lighter. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
