My old sony tv about 10 years old becomes snowy& noisy when its first turned on and it then clears up?

If you are using your vcr or dvd via video jacks, then the tuner in the tv is not used during that time. The older sony tv's had tuner issues caused by bad connections on one or more of three possibilities. the tuner,the aft coil , and the regulators i.c's. Whenever I see one of these sets for this problem ,I resolder all 3 circuits automatically
