Do i stay or do i go?? Offered an apt. for little $$ but happy where i live only not saving for future.?

I would go with the option that would be best for you and your son in the long run. I would take the down grade so you can save to get your own place. With all the money you are saving month to month you could probably afford to indulge a little from time to time for nicer or better things to spruce up the apartment that could also go in your future home.
