Is it time for a military draft?

Obviously, the idea is to only fight wars for the right causes, and to only fight a war if it is necessary. When those two things are followed, you don't need a draft. I am not saying you never should use a draft, but the lack of a draft keeps the US from involving itself in too many places. In other words, the lack of a draft is like a check valve for the politicians.
