Is there anything more up to date that would equal the oregon petition?

i realize that in this war on ignorance, the best information is that which is most recent. in saying that, im curious as to the current status on the oregon petition. i know its been about 10 years now since it came out but 19,000 scientists could not have completely changed their tunes in the time that has ped. from what i have seen, the i.p.c.c report that al gore grossly distorted in his meladramatic play consisted of only 2300 or so scientists. half of which reportedly didnt even want to be named on the report prior to its release. so we have a thousand scien compared to 19,000. wow, what a concensus. but despite all the truth spouting from my keyboard, i would like to know if there is any more recent petition or paper of some sort that would equal the impact that the oregon petition holds. i know there are conferences and meetings going on here and there but i would like to site another more recent petition or source of true concensus. thanks
